Actually, I saw this video on Facebook yesterday, and some parts of it were really painful to watch. Given my physical faux pas when attempting close grip bench presses this morning, I felt it was appropriate to share.
Nothing I do seems to be half as dangerous as these rather terrifying Crossfit mistakes, but they are a reminder that anything we do to get healthy that involves heavy weights needs to be done correctly. While the following video is supposed to be funny, there are several points during the showing where it looked like the some of the individuals involved could have been seriously hurt.
Just a word of warning, not the least of which is to me.
Our goal should be to keep improving ourselves, rather than “being the best.”
